£30,000 DOE + a generous benefits package

This is an opportunity for a Junior Developer to take the next step in their career and join an award-winning Technology department based in Manchester.

You will join a renowned IT team of over 100 members and work within one of the fastest growing online eCommerce marketplaces.

The role

As the Junior Developer, you will get involved in building an in-house Property Management system using the latest languages, tools and frameworks.

You will work alongside a Senior Developer and get involved in things such as:

• Building scalable and resilient solutions
• Product ownership
• Getting involved in sprints and Agile workflow
• Implementing best practices and follow industry trends
• Collaborate with the wider IT team and external stakeholders
• Suggest new ideas to help improve the existing platform
• Code reviews

Junior Developer required skills:

• 6 months+ commercial experience with PHP
• MVC framework experience such as Laravel would be ideal (even in personal projects)!
• JavaScript, HTML, CSS
• Willingness to learn!
