Orpyx develops sensor-based wearable solutions to prevent diabetic foot complications. We are an ISO 13485 company committed to providing quality medical devices that consistently meet customer needs and regulatory requirements. Orpyx® SI Sensory Insole System is comprised of sensor-embedded custom insoles used to empower people with diabetes to extend mobility by preventing dreaded diabetes-related complications such as foot ulcers and amputation. The sensory insoles send feedback to an app-based display, alerting the wearer in real-time of dangerous plantar pressures, enabling them to adjust behaviour immediately to help prevent damage from occurring. The sensory data is uploaded to the Orpyx SI cloud-based dashboard where the data can be remotely monitor between care visits. Our business model is a combination of medical device sales and SaaS (software-as-a-service) and meets the requirements for HCPCS and CPT reimbursement.

The Position
Reporting to the Senior Director Facilities and Productivity and working as part of a cross-functional team, the ERP Administrator manages the ERP system, coordinates maintenance, manages change related to system data and configuration, troubleshoots and resolves ERP related software, user access or other issues. The ERP Administrator ensures that projects are supported in the ERP by gathering user requirements, configuring, and validating the implementation of the ERP systems and applications in line with business requirements.
This includes:
Assists with ERP implementation, configuration, data entry, testing & validation
Keeping the project team up to date on the project’s progress throughout and escalating issues as appropriate with recommendations / solutions
Ensuring all project-related documents are maintained
Participate in project risk assessments and reviews to ensure compliance, integrity, and practice of good governance
Gathering, challenging and prioritizing business requirements for various stakeholders including finance, operations, sales, and production
Work closely with managers and project leads to determine their needs for an effective information system solution
Leading and coordinating the design and implementation of e.g., customized reports, templates but also entire modules, interfaces or similar
Developing policies and documentation procedures for all system transactions and processes
Creating training materials and ensuring an appropriate transfer of knowledge to key users
Monitors system performance and usage to maintain security and reliability
Provide project expediting services to manage timeliness and quality compliance for delivery of materials and equipment required for urgent delivery to projects
Finalize documents for execution, verifying invoices and final accounts, managing completion certificates
User administration including set up, termination and access requirements for ERP system
Apply an improvement-focused mindset to determine and find opportunities for streamlining business and operational processes
Maintain a clean, and safe working environment
Perform duties in a manner that is consistent with and committed to upholding the requirements of the quality management system
Additionally, due to the ever-changing and sometimes chaotic environment of an early-stage high-tech company, the ERP Administrator may assume additional responsibilities, as required.
Qualifications
Completed an academic business degree, diploma or equivalent experience
Strong information systems skills or have a major in computer science
2+ years of practical experience in the administration of ERP systems
Previous experience in ERP implementation, support and have knowledge of end user support, system setup and configuration, training, validation and testing of new features
Experience with ERP configuration and customization as an administrator in a company support function or as a consultant with an ERP implementation provider
Good functional understanding of finance, operations, logistics and sales, ideally in a manufacturing environment
Fluent in spoken and written English
Knowledge of the interaction between procurement and supply chain with other engineering disciplines and fields of work is considered an asset
Knowledge of electronics assembly processes considered an asset
Strong customer service skills
Must thrive in a start-up, fast-paced, ever-changing work environment and be comfortable navigating the “grey”
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday.
