­­Orpington Education Group is looking for several online English tutors for primary school age students. The students typically are 5 – 11 years old in a small group living overseas with English as their secondary language (ESL) or foreign language (EFL).

Your role and responsibilities:

• Prepare presentation for individual tutoring sessions
• Provide tuition that is appropriate for the group’s needs and study level
• Use relevant tutoring methods and materials
• Assign and mark homework on time
• Provide post lesson reports to track student’s progress on time

Work Schedule

We offer flexible teaching time slots 07:00am-3:30pm during weekdays and weekends. The hours allocated to a particular teacher can vary depending on their availability.

Requirements

• MUST HAVE: British university educated
• MUST HAVE: Familiar with primary school English curriculum in the UK
• MUST HAVE: 2+ years of recent teaching/tutoring experience
• Ideally with PGCE, QTS, CELTA/DELTA, or relevant certificates
• Comfortable with online meeting platform like Zoom
• Kind, friendly and skilful with young students
• Dedicated, punctual, reliable with good communication skills
• The ability to commit to the same time slot for a prolonged period

Pay

Around £30 per hour
