Job Title: Contract Recruiter

The Senior Contract Recruiter will support Human Resources Team and plays a key role in growing our organization in the Chicago area. This person will develop recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The right candidate will help shape the role according to their skills, and act as a key player toward achieving significant growth and long-term sustainability for Organizational Development Research Group (ODRG).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Source, identify and recruiter top talent in Chicago, IL area.
• Partner with vertical leads to determine staffing needs and proactively source candidates for proposals and new contract leads.
• Develop a strong talent pipeline for short and long term hiring needs.
• Maintain and update the applicant tracking system. Technologically savvy, you feel comfortable using and training on applications and systems.
• Coordinate candidate interviews across internal teams, managing multiple calendars.

• Provide a world class candidate experience by communicating thoughtfully and efficiently with all candidates; and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure we are getting back to candidates promptly.
• Strong negotiations, stay abreast of benefits, environment, and compensation trends.

• Lead our efforts to build a diverse and inclusive team in the Chicago area.

Education and Job Knowledge:

• Expert in Recruiting in and for Chicago, IL area.
• 7+ years of direct Recruiting experience. Grants management recruiting experience preferred.

• 3+ years’ experience recruiting for government contracts.
• Full-time experience driving processes, managing stakeholders, setting expectations (especially upwards) and executing reliably.
• Self-directed minimal supervision required.
• Exceptional face-to-face, phone, and written communication skills, including the ability to compellingly articulate ODRG’s mission to a variety of different audiences.
• Motivated self-starter who values learning; contributes as part of a team and thrives in a collaborative environment. Ability to work independently, set priorities and handle multiple issues at the same time.
• Passionate about people & process; you like getting things done. Results orientation & continuous improvement mindset.
• Self-motivated, flexible, highly organized, meticulous and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $50.00 – $90.00 per hour
