Oregon Child Development Coalition, Inc Hiring for Preschool Promise Teacher at Independence, OR Full Time

Preschool teacher in Preschool Promise Program classroom. Maintains a safe, well-managed, child oriented learning environment. Implements curriculum which demonstrates a developmentally and culturally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of the children and families. Ensures, supports, and promotes each child’s safety, health, and development in cooperation with their parents.

Ensures classroom and related activities correlate with established Agency goals, objectives and work plans, and are in compliance with Oregon Office of Child Care regulations, Child Outcomes Framework, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), USDA, and other applicable rules.

Education And Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education, child development, or in any field with coursework equivalent1 to a major relating to early childhood education or child development.

1 Oregon Registry Step 10 or higher per degree or college courses pathway.
