Do you have a strong financial background, with a recognised Accountancy Qualification and a passion to analyse operational data? We have an opportunity to join us as a Financial Analyst, working closely with our Regional Operational Finance Teams, on a Fixed Term basis.

Hours of work: Mon-Fri 37.5 hours per week for a 6 months fixed term contract

Salary : £45,000-£50,000 pro rata of fixed term contract

Location: Home working with occasional travel working across the Oxfordshire Region

About the role:

As a Financial Analyst your key tasks will be:

• Analysis of Financial and Operational data
• Deliver insightful information to allow decision making that will drive improvement in trading performance
• Support and develop modelling of various Income and cost items
• Regular review of KPI’s and management information to identify trends and emerging issues in order that mitigating action can be taken
• Look for opportunities to deliver services more efficiently and effectively
• Working on tracking, control and submission of costing details regarding reporting requirements in relation to Covid funding
• Analysis to support collation of Regional Operational Budgets and Forecasts
• Ad hock analysis, data collation and reporting
• Working closely with Regional Operational Finance and Operational Teams

About you:

• Recognised Accounting Qualification
• Extensive Financial Analysis experience
• Experience of Data interpretation
• Experience of working with the Operational side of a Business
• Experience of adding commercial value to an organisation

• Previous experience in a medium sized company
• Ability to learn quickly to get a grasp and understanding of a business and its main drivers in a short period of time
• Commercial outlook
• High quality standards with an attention to detail
• Able to work independently
• Able to prioritise multiple, often conflicting tasks
• Approachable
• Strong team player respectful of others
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
