Key elements and responsibilities
Responsible for development, administration and communication of the compensation, incentive pay (including merit, bonus, equity, promotions and long-term incentives) retention programs and processes to align with our culture and business strategy
Responsible for the development and administration of global benefits (currently UK, EU and US) including health, well-being and retirement; identifies and evaluates benefits enhancements to meet the needs of our employees and maintains a competitive position in the marketplace while ensuring compliance with local employment regulations
Generates associated policies to ensure that the administration and communication of compensation and benefits programs are well executed and contribute to a positive employee experience
Designs and implements global recognition programs for both short term and long-term achievements
Manages the annual salary review and promotions process, framework and associated administrative activities
Builds collaborative relationships and provides consultative advice to managers regarding total rewards (e.g. promotions/transfers, job offers, relocations) and policy and guideline interpretation
Manages Orchards’ compensation structures, market pricing/surveys, cost analysis, trends, and other analytics for compensation and benefits; benchmark across all areas of rewards to evaluate and maintain competitiveness
Develops and delivers training to educate leaders, managers and colleagues on the company’s compensation and benefits programs
Implements as appropriate and maintains tools, systems and processes to effectively manage total rewards including selection and management of associated vendors
Manages global mobility, partnering with the HR leadership team, Finance and Tax to provide strategic insight on cost and tax considerations related to building a broader employee footprint across all countries, globally. Including immigration support and permanent or temporary relocations.
Generates and maintains HR data analytics
Partners with the HR team on the annual performance management cycle, engagement activities and other HR projects
Requirements
Required knowledge
Substantial experience in managing employee compensation and benefits in multiple geographies including, UK, EU and US
Experience in reward program design and communications
Experience with HR data and analytics
Experience in executive compensation in a publicly traded company not required but highly desirable

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple vendor relationships

Excellent problem-solving capabilities and judgment; ability to make sound decisions independently; solutions-oriented
Impeccable discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
Strong bias for action and not afraid to “roll up your sleeves”
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resource Administration or other related field.
