The Opportunity

As a key member of the Executive Leadership team, this person will be responsible for fostering contemporary approaches to continuous improvement across strategic, operational and mission critical services. Leading a small team and reporting into the Group Director Corporate Services, this person will;

• Drive internal strategy to support employee and consumer experience with best practice within all key functions of HR.
• Develop high level relationships with core stakeholders to elevate leadership capabilities across the senior leadership team.
• Continuously improve the broader business, embedding system implementation as well as demonstrating stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Work closely with the Leadership and Culture Partner

About You

For this appointment we are seeking an experienced human resources leader from within the Human Services sector. From this, you will have an in-depth understanding of the complexities within a large, geographically dispersed and heavily unionised workforce. In addition, you will have;

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related disciplines
• Minimum five years working as a senior HR leader
• Demonstrated experience leading payroll, recruitment, Industrial Relations, WHS, workforce wellness, people strategy, and implementation
• Interest working within the Child, Youth & Family space
• Commitment to interstate travel as required
• Capability to manage teams remotely and serve stakeholders around Australia
