About The Role
We’re looking for a high energy and dynamic Talent Scout to identify and engage with exceptional talent for our clients. This role will be responsible for all outbound talent generation activity as well as dealing with inbound job applications. This role is instrumental in how both Orbit and our clients are perceived, being the first touchpoint with prospective talent.
In Summary: Identify excellent candidates, get them bought into our clients, then book them into qualification calls with a Talent Manager.

Responsibilities*

• Accompany Talent Managers to role briefing meetings, helping to build the ideal profile for that hire
• Research the tech and talent market to become a subject matter expert on the role
• Work with the Talent Manager to create a job advert and pitching material for the role
• Use various candidate sourcing tools to identify candidates who fit the client’s profile
• Interact with potential candidates on social media and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn, Slack and Github)
• Respond, engage and pre-qualify inbound job applications
• Use a multichannel approach to pitch relevant candidates, getting them “bought into” the role
• Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over the phone, email & messaging apps
• Schedule qualification calls for Talent Managers with relevant candidates
• Effectively partner and work across the Orbit team
• Act as the subject matter expert on Orbit, our clients and their exciting journeys

Requirements

• Proven sales, recruitment or business development success
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a distributed team
• Capability of understanding client tech, culture and talent needs
• Capability of identifying good candidates (training is provided)
• Great communication skills – written, verbal, presentation, social platforms
• Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently while achieving agreed goals
• A strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables. Acts without being told what to do. The curiosity to think about what we’re missing, bringing new ideas to the company
• Contributes fully to the team effort and plays an integral part in the smooth running of teams without necessarily taking the lead
• A driven individual, who’s always looking for ways to improve
• A university degree or equivalent level of academic qualification
