About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for a Diploma Trained Educator at our Courallie Long Day Care Centre. This is a part time position (32 hours) reporting to the Coordinator – Courallie.

You will be working with a team to provide a safe, stimulating, healthy and caring environment which fosters and maximizes each child’s individual development potential and to contribute to the educational curriculum that demonstrates the learning practice outcomes outlined in the Early Years Learning Framework.

So what do you need?

• Diploma Level Education and Care qualification
• Working with Children Check clearance
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Demonstrated experience working in accordance with the National Quality Framework in providing an education and care service
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong creativity and problem solving skills
• Excellent organisational and planning skills, being able to work to deadlines and set priorities
• Demonstrated ability to work and contribute as part of a team
