We are offering a wonderful opportunity at our dynamic Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice for a positive, energetic, and self-motivated individual to help assist the doctors with serving the community and surrounding areas with the highest quality and standards of patient care and comfort in a private practice surgical setting.

We are looking for a team oriented individual to join our team in Wexford. The office has free onsite parking, no nights, no weekends, no holidays or call. We offer steady hours and a 4 day work week! You always have a 3 day weekend.

Primary responsibilities:

Assisting the Doctor in patient consultations, procedures and office based surgeries.

• Responsible for assisting in all areas of patient care – seating patients, updating the patient electronic health record, obtaining scans, updating patient records.
• Responsible for maintaining a neat, organized, and well documented sterilization department.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of accredited surgery assisting program or some surgery assisting experience preferred. Office or hospital based.
• Coursework in surgery instruments and procedures.
• Compliance with state surgery practice requirements (i.e., X-ray requirements, OSHA training).
• Computer skills, Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Digital Radiology experience preferred.

Hours:

• Full-Time 30-40 hours per week. 4 day work week.
