The Senior Business Development Manager’s (SBDM) role is to optimally grow the company’s market share through the development, implementation, and maximisation of enterprise sized acquisition sales opportunities for Optus Enterprise. The SBDM is an Executive Sales Professional who will operate within a sales matrix structure and will be responsible for forming and leading a virtual team from the resources cross company, including partners. Managing the sales opportunity process from qualification, opportunity plans and running Win-Labs to enhance the opportunity while selling all Optus Enterprise products and services into Enterprise acquisition/ prospect accounts and assigned pursuits.

In this role, you will operate in a High Risk/ High Reward fashion and are a customer facing executive owner for large deal pursuit. Assisting and coaching demand generation of acquisition and whole of business opportunities. In addition to growing delivering new revenue.

Your day to day will consist of…

• Developing and implementing customer growth and acquisition strategies and programs to the customer base through identification of their communications needs, spend profile and overall opportunities.
• Nurturing executive customer relationships, covering all relevant contacts within the target customer account. Whilst managing the involvement of all other Optus groups responsible for supporting the customer.
• Relentlessly striving to increase market share in primarily core carriage as well as ICT, security, professional services, annuity, and cloud.

• You have a healthy foundation of managing key technical relationships and selling strategic business solutions that included return on investment analysis.
• You pride yourself on your high levels of personal dedication and willingness to accept responsibility for one’s own actions, complimented by motivational and persuasiveness skills.
• Ability to identify and navigate sophisticated organisational and political customer structures with confidence and patience.
