Optus Hiring for Project Manager at Macquarie Park, New South Wales, Australia Full Time

This role is required to work closely with the Optus internal departments to deliver minor projects on budget, time and with high quality. This includes working alongside external/ internal design and engineering, FF&E consultants undertaking documentation, tendering and recommendation papers and delivering to customer requirements developing a great workplace experience for our colleagues.

Your day in the life of a Project Manager at Optus

The role is responsible for the end-to-end project management of the Corporate Property projects including budgeting, planning, price negotiations and ing and liaising with local authorities and landlords. The project delivery includes the delivery of multiple projects at any one time. The role requires excellent interpersonal and influencing skills required to manage project teams. Assist where needed other Workplace Development Managers/Senior Project Managers on medium to large projects creating workplaces for the future.

Your Skills To Pay The Bills

• Relevant tertiary qualification Design, Engineering, Property or similar degree or equivalent experience
• Experience operating within a large national corporate environment
• Experience in project management and workspace planning and development
• Experience in procurement and external vendor/supplier management.
• Analysis/data manipulation/data modelling
• Good presentation and business skills including budgeting.
• Thorough understanding of base building construction, Building Code of Australia, and project management delivery.
