Purpose of the role

The Director Lead Generation Strategy is responsible for defining digital leads strategy and operational excellence across the organisation. As the face of digital leads and strategy, you are the bridge between the ELT, SLT, sales, channel partners, squads, and non-agile parts of the organisation. You own the customer leads strategy and operations, business cases, P&L along with roadmap delivery accountability. In addition, a core accountability of this role is identifying, implementing, and supervising the development and deployment of innovative approaches. Of which will drive leads generation and revenue growth for our B2B segments.

The role cuts across all groups within the Optus Enterprise and Business group and the wider consumer group. It sets the strategic enablement direction with the digital tribe lead, transforms business digital strategy to the tribe level and ultimately drives the implementation.

Your day to day

• Lead and manage a team to develop and implement the company’s leads generation strategy, including inbound and outbound lead generations programs, lead nurturing, and lead scoring.
• Developing positive relationships with our sales team to align with our enablement team to help with optimising sales team efficiency through predictable and scalable lead flow.
• Identify and develop new channels or partnership opportunities to help drive customer pipeline growth through targeted campaigns.
• Work cross-functionally across all business units and collaborate with other marketing teams, including demand generation, content marketing, and product marketing, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of all activities pertaining to opportunities and pipeline growth.

You have a firm knowledge across Salesforce, ET & (SD) AEM Platform Architecture & Systems Infrastructure which is complimented by your strong technical leadership and influencing skills. You bring extensive hands-on experience with leading strategy and innovation across your segments which has gifted you with strong experience with business and enterprise across sales & service areas.

You embrace a new challenge with a high degree of innovative thinking, outstanding leadership, and the ability to empower and encourage a network of autonomous teams for the agile setup. Across experiences in your career, you have proven your ability in utilising the salesforce stack, as well as data structure & governance empowering you to successfully plan strategically.
