We provide a diverse range of products and technologies including counter-drone (CUAS) systems, UTM, synthetic environments, managed services, consultancy, R&D, and drone operations.

Role

We currently have opportunities for three Software Developers to join the growing software development team. You will collaborate with other developers and business resources to deliver innovative solutions supporting the overall development roadmap.

The successful candidates will report into the Lead Software Architect and be responsible for delivering quality solutions to deadline.

This is a highly rewarding role that requires an ability to work collaboratively across a diverse team in a highly dynamic and agile environment.

Core Responsibilities

• You will create and maintain reliable, scalable solutions as defined by the company’s technology road map.
• Ensure quality releases to customers with minimal downtime.
• Effective interaction with engineering team, suppliers, academia, and customers to achieve desired project outcomes.
• Creation and maintenance of engineering plans, ensuring products are engineered in a way that meets the design criteria.

Technical Experience

Essential Skills/Experience

• 5+ years’ experience of Microsoft .NET C#
• Understanding of Microsoft .NET Core
• Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server & Database Platforms
• Understanding of Microsoft Windows Server

Desirable Skills/Experience, one or more of the following:

• SAPIENT understanding
• Azure DevOps experience
• JavaScript
• HTML
• Understanding of fusion and correlation techniques
• Micro Service Architecture
• Real Time Operating Systems
• Networking infrastructure
• Application Security Principles
• UI design
• Defence and Security experience

Qualifications/Key skills and qualities

• Experience with designing and developing complex software products
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to form strong relationships to influence stakeholders at all levels (both internally and externally)
• Ability to distil complex challenges into defined tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable self-starter, with the ability to lead a team to achieve outcomes
• Ability to handle pressure and work to stipulated deadlines
• Current SC clearance or the ability to obtain it

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £40,000.00-£75,000.00 per year
