The Opportunity: HR Technology Senior Program Manager
The Senior Program Manager role supports our people strategy, processes, and tools, so that leaders can identify and develop their talent. This role acts as the HR Technology champion of our Global HR Systems landscape, its accompanying data and the technology roadmap for driving continuous improvement.
You will partner with the HR Technology & Transformation team to drive system adoption, stabilization, data integrity, and enhancements to enable Human Resources operations and strategic initiatives.
You will be responsible for supporting the deployment of the HR Technology roadmap, Global HR Systems landscape, integrations and overarching Global HR Systems footprint. You will participate in research to enable continuing innovation. You will ensure that HR systems and related procedures adhere to organizational processes, policies, and guidelines.
In addition, you may be responsible for the collection of functional business requirements for strategic initiatives, supporting governance processes, implementation, and communication, that supports the company’s strategic objectives.
You are great at:
Driving engagement with SuccessFactors and other vendors to scope, design, and implement required SuccessFactors modules/solutions
Partnering with IT teams to plan and maintain an environment that reflects and communicates business processes, and Employee Life Cycle events
Partnering with key stakeholders to develop and recommend roadmap items and strategy
Partner with HR and non-HR stakeholders (Talent, Recruiting, Learning, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, HRIS, IT) to identify opportunities, prioritize requirements and develop a rollout plan
Facilitating the prioritization and deployment of an HR Technology Roadmap
Collaborating with stakeholders to document functional requirements
Partnering with internal colleagues and 3rd party vendors as needed during solution deployment
Proactively identifying project risks and developing and act on risk mitigation plans
Taking the lead on upgrades associated with our Global HR Systems to help identify and deploy new functionality to further support and improve HR operations
Acting as a mentor and coach to Business Analysts
Supporting global compliance policies, procedures, and governance
Playing a key role as a Subject Matter Expert in HR system architecture and solution integration, developing processes and solutions to support M&A, and other strategic initiatives
What it takes:
Minimum 7 years HR systems experience with minimum of 4 years SuccessFactors experience, preferably in a Global Human Resources environment, process improvement and analytics with strong knowledge of data practices and principles to positively impact business results
Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization – to both technical and business audiences, demonstrating strong influencing and negotiating skills
Ability to use good judgment and discretion with highly confidential and sensitive personnel information
Excellent analytical skills with a deep solutions-oriented approach
Project Management skills
Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks without close supervision
Excellent written communication and presentation skills
Experience in requirements gathering and developing system test scripts
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Ability to understand integration and data flows of information across systems
Experience working with Software as a Service (SAAS) related systems preferred
A demonstrated ability to prioritize in a complex environment with multiple tasks and tight deadlines and with a high degree of change and ambiguity
Strong organizational skills and follow-through on commitments and deadlines
Ability to think laterally with strong analytical skills
Ability to be assertive, empathetic, tactful, and supportive
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management/Information Technology or a related discipline preferred
SuccessFactors Certifications an asset
PMP Certification is an asset
