The OT2 Platform product development team is seeking a talented Director to work in partnership with Product Management and Architecture teams on shaping and delivering low code and pro code capability for OpenText Developer Cloud. You will be responsible for day-to-day management of Engineering team to ensure technical quality, and efficient use of resources. Ensure project are delivered on time, within budget and within agreed upon quality standards. Work closely with cross-functional teams within OpenText and partner with key stakeholders. This is a tremendous opportunity to get in and shape the direction of the next generation developer tools and environments that OpenText is building for OT2 developers.

You are great at:
Partnering with Product Management, Architecture, Operations, other delivery teams and Release Management to ensure effective launch and delivery of projects to satisfy business needs

Delivering assigned projects to time, budget and agreed quality standards

Leading teams to ensure delivery success, h elp teams achieve sprint/release goals,

Facilitate planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives, provide guidance, technical feedback and ensure release goal is achieved

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure plans & resources are coordinated, and product deliverables are well defined, scoped and achieved

Taking responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction during project delivery

Building and maintaining strong client relationships, internal and external

Provide visibility to team impediments/risks and helps eliminate them, Ensure appropriate and timely reporting

Ensure Team development and career progression

Align with internal development process and improve the in-house methodology and delivery processes

Provide guidance, technical feedback and ensure product delivery success

Help the team to be innovative and improve things

Be part of organization-wide initiatives and drive the change

What it takes:
Minimum MS CS or equivalent experience

Extensive industry engineering experience, including in a management or project management position

Experience with SaaS/Cloud Development, low code and pro code software capability is preferred

Previous experience in design and development of JAVA based Applications and API first approach software development

Agile project management training and experience required.

Strong interpersonal and collaborative problem-solving skills required.

Excellent communication and people skill required.

Ability to organize, plan and create a team environment that will lead into a team motivated to deliver.

Effective facilitation skills for participatory decision making.
