ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accounts Payable:
• Monitor payment of invoices to ensure that there are no duplicate payments, or that invoices are not paid without authorization.
• Ensure that no accounts become past due.
• Balance vendors to statements and accounts payable schedule and prepare payment in a timely manner.
• Keep copies of all expense account-related documents and prepare for management review.
• Vendor Setup and paperwork request
• Process A/P check run

• Accounts Receivable:
• Receive and record payments and receipts from departments.
• Collection duties as needed
• Check for recording accuracy and correct any errors to ensure accurate reconciliation of accounts.
• Weekly AR aging schedule

• Clerical:
• Scanning
• Filing

• This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess strong attention to detail, time management, and work well as part of a team.

• Ability to be versatile in working with changing priorities of position responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills in person, on the telephone, and in writing.
• Professional personal appearance.
• Interpersonal skills, ability to work well with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work and function as part of our team.
• Demonstrated computer skills – MS Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple administrative tasks.
• Knowledge of Reynolds and Reynolds.
• Automotive accounting experience (asset).
