We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic Life & Health Insurance Customer Support Representative to join our OMA Insurance Service team.
The OMA has moved to a permanent hybrid work environment. As such, the individual in this position will be required to work a minimum number of days in our Toronto office.
Job Summary
The Customer Support Representative is responsible for providing first point of contact insurance related service support to members, responding to queries and requests, resolving issues, and providing expertise in the improvement of insurance and business processes and products.
You Will Make a Difference By

• Being the first point of contact service for insurance-related service support to members, responding to daily queries and requests, and providing information on OMA’s insurance products and business processes
• and discrepancies, resolving administrative and claims issues, and referring members to OMA’s licensed advisors
• Contributing to insurance business initiatives, product implementation and communication material development by sharing insights and recommendations, and completing assigned project tasks and activities
• Collecting and documenting member’s feedback with OMA Insurance products, processes, and services
• Identifying and documenting claims, administrative and underwriting complaints, and issues; and handling routine complaints and following up on actions taken to resolve issues

Requirements That Are Important to Us*

• Minimum 2-3 years insurance customer service experience with group Life, Disability, Health and Dental Insurance products and acceptable insurance practices.
• Community College Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent
• Good working knowledge of Salesforce CRM is preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Associate Customer Service (ACS) Designation is an asset
