Ontario Drive & Gear Limited Hiring for Job Control Coordinator at New Hamburg, ON Full Time

Job Purpose:

The Job Control Coordinator ensures the timely and accurate creation, dissemination and documentation of work orders while maintaining focus on customer standards throughout all processes of manufacturing and ultimately deliver business results which meet or exceed company targets.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:

• Maintain a job numbering system
• Identify the need to create a job package based on MRP demands by reviewing reports
• Create job package for the Production floor, including Factory Documentation, Inspection reports, and drawings
• Control the receipt of material, entering Stock Receipt tags to put material into inventory and allocating material to the correct job
• Responsible for expediting, de-expediting and prioritizing jobs
• Interact with Product Coordinators Program Managers to understand product requirements clearly
• Assist Product Coordinators in sales order entry, printing packing slips and invoicing
• Maintains the integrity of the Job creation system data
• Manages the data in the Job Creation System, performs periodic updates of critical information.
• Assist in risk assessment, management and mitigation activities.
• Propose new ideas to improve sales and profitability.
• Implement process improvements to achieve product quality and productivity.
• Participate in continuous improvements efforts based on feedback from key performance indicators.
• Work in compliance with Health & Safety regulations
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

• Equivalent of High School Education.
• Post-Secondary education from an accredited institution in, Planning & Logistics, or equivalent work experience will be considered an asset

Work Experience Requirements:

Must have 3 years’ experience in Product Planning in a manufacturing environment

Job related experience required:

• Customer set ups and maintenance
• Experience liaising with customers regarding service issues
• Experience directing requests from customers
• Effective verbal and written communications; concise report development; current office computer knowledge

Technical Requirements:

Equipment: Standard office equipment

Software: Microsoft programs, Internet, Syspro

Physical Requirements:

Various environments including office, production areas.
