This full-time, position is responsible for the oversight of online learning design, development, and technical support services, including supervision of designated staff, project management, and coordination of technical support services to ensure qualitative and efficient production and delivery of educational and creative content (classroom and online) for business to business, and business to consumer customers.
Job Duties: Work closely with Onsite Workshop personnel to manage the design, creation, delivery, and evaluation of online and blended course opportunities using appropriate instructional technologies. This position will work to develop and implement opportunities for learning and training that conforms to best practices and meets internal and external standards.
Responsibilities Include:
· Act as an administrator and coordinator with IT of the divisions learning technologies, including the Learning Management System, Salesforce, closed captioning software, web conferencing platforms and authoring technologies
· Configure, support, and manage content on appropriate systems
· Collaborate with team members to set strategic priorities and determine measurable outcomes for new blended (online and classroom-based) and existing offerings
· Design, create, and deliver a cadre of blended options that will meet the established priorities and outcomes in conjunction with curriculum subject matter experts and online division staff
· Support the development of all instructional delivery methods (in-person, online, self-service, etc.) and mediums such as audio-visual materials, instructor guides, and curriculum
· Consults with subject matter experts (SMEs) to conduct task analysis and recommend solutions
· Demonstrate knowledge of adult learning principles and concepts, instructional design theory, and measurement and evaluation methods
· Elevate risks and proposes mitigation strategies to meet timelines
· Strategize and implement techniques to drive content usage
Provide critical assessment of evidenced based practice and ensure compliance with appropriate clinical organizations
· Master’s degree required in instructional design, instructional technology, or combination of degree and workforce experience
· 5+ years’ experience in training delivery and/or instructional design experience including the design, creation, delivery, and evaluation of both synchronous and asynchronous online learning courses using multimedia and web-based applications required
· Experience with multi-state and/or global company
· Demonstrated success in designing, building, implementing, and evaluating online and blended offerings
· Ability to formally present ideas and deliverables to internal and external stakeholders during the project.
· Experience working with subject matter experts and vendors
· Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
· Previous supervisory experience
· Independent self-starter possessing excellent problem solving and project management skills, along with demonstrated judgment, reasoning, and the ability to collaborate
· Understanding of Learning Management Systems
· Understanding of AICC and SCORM specifications and demonstrated knowledge of user interface content development
· Experience with software (e.g., Microsoft Office Products, design products rapid eLearning authoring tools), Zoom production, ecommerce plugins and experienced working with online educational platforms/Learning Management System
· If remote, some occasional travel to headquarters may be required
