Job Summary:

Our company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Logistics Specialist to join our team. The Junior Logistics Specialist will be responsible for supporting our logistics operations and ensuring that shipments are delivered on time and in the most efficient manner. The successful candidate will be able to work well under pressure, have excellent organizational skills, and possess a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments

Track shipments and update shipping documents as necessary

Communicate with carriers, vendors, and customers to ensure timely delivery of shipments

Provide support to the logistics team in the management of inventory levels

Assist with the preparation of customs documentation for international shipments

Monitor and on transportation costs and trends

Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Knowledge of logistics and transportation industry

Experience with logistics software, such as TMS and WMS, is a plus
