OneMD Hiring for Business Development Manager at Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Full Time

Our client is a global medical device company who have a specialised orthopaedic portfolio and associated technology. They have market leading products and slick operational support to drive the customer experience.

Whilst in a period of growth and imminent new product releases, they are looking to hire a Business Development Manager to manage the existing client base, but also identify new surgeon opportunities to convert into accounts. You will have excellent performance data to use in your discussions and have the support of some of the leading orthopaedic surgeons in both Melbourne and Australia who are already clients of this business.

Responsibilities

• Engage with both existing and new surgeons to drive engagement and utilisation of the suite of products
• Develop go to market strategies for Victoria, including building a team of Territory Managers
• Work with decision makers within the hospital system to discuss tender opportunities
• Collaborate with other BDM’s across Australia to execute on the national strategy
• Train, on board and educate both surgeons and theatre nurses on the utilisation of the products and systems

Qualifications

• Medical Sales / Clinical experience, preferably within an Orthopaedic / Sports Med or Trauma portfolio – Other in-theatre technical sales might be considered
• Strong networks of surgeons and other relevant stakeholders in Victoria to help expedite new opportunities
• Business development mindset and the ability to think outside the box when approaching sales opportunities
• Have experience launching new products and demonstrating successful growth
• Be able to influence, educate and train hospital stakeholders
