IN THE ROLE

• Assist credit card customers with past due accounts find solutions through both inbound and outbound contact, providing education on account status
• Contact customers to provide credit assistance to help them to fulfill their financial obligations. Our work focuses on our existing customers who have long term relationships with us
• Negotiate and collaborate with customers to resolve delinquent account matters while providing a positive customer experience by discussing options and setting up payment arrangements
• Work with our clients in a consultative manner in accordance with all applicable laws, policies, and procedures
• Maintain and notate all appropriate information and documentation on customer and account status. Collaborate with others on the team involved with collecting and servicing of accounts
• Work together as both team member and individual contributor in a goal-oriented environment to meet individual and team targets

Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with credit collections
• Experience in banking, finance, or call center environments
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Excellent and engaging communication skills
• Multi-tasking and goal achieving
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment
• Capability to quickly analyze challenging problems/situations and provide solutions
• Bilingual: Spanish

• The sign on bonus of $1500 will be paid in 1 installment after 90 days of employment. Team member must be active at the time of the payout. Not applicable to current OneMain team members
