O’Neill Language Academy, Inc Hiring for Spanish Teacher: Part-Time Mornings Job at Edina, MN Full Time

O’Neill Language Academy (OLA) is excited to hire a Spanish teacher for toddlers and preschoolers. You will teach on-site at beautiful childcare centers in Edin and Minnetonka and possibly other locations in the Twin Cities. (A teacher’s licensure is not required for this job.)

OLA will provide you with excellent lessons plans, songs, games and everything needed to make learning Spanish fun for children and for you! We will also provide you with ongoing training and mentoring because we want you to love your job and be successful! You will teach 30-minute classes two to three mornings a week for 1 to 1.5 hours (between the hours of 9-11:30 am.) This is a part-time position but could grow into more hours if you are interested.

We are looking for someone with an intermediate to advanced level of Spanish. The candidate must love working with children and ideally have experience teaching children in a childcare center, as a Sunday school teacher, as a coach, a nanny or other similar job. Experience with positive classroom management skills is a plus. Experience in acting, singing or playing an instrument in not required but it is a plus. Candidate must be professional, punctual and reliable and have a vehicle and a driver’s license. You will also be required to pass a background check.

The pay is $24 per hour. Teacher training is paid at $15 per hour. The number of training hours you will have will depend upon how much experience you have working with children.
