Oneida Nation Enterprises Hiring for Accounts Payable Assistant Job at Oneida, NY Full Time

• Works directly with vendors and internal departments to ensure all invoices are processed timely and accurately.
• Reviews invoices to ensure merchandise has been received. Checks accuracy of services rendered/amount due and investigates and resolves all variances.
• Tracks all purchase orders and matches with corresponding invoices for payment. Verifies prices on invoices against price list provided by Supply Chain Dept.
• Enters vouchers and invoices into the accounts payable system and runs related reports.
• Resolves all variances and requests copies of any outstanding invoices.
• Accurately types, files, and completes other related accounting duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field is preferred and would be considered in lieu of experience.
• Minimum of three years accounts payable experience preferred.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; position works with spreadsheets on a daily basis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have experience in guest service position.

Job Type: Full-time
