OneBlood Hiring for Call Center – Telerecruiter at Charlotte, NC Full Time

OneBlood is looking for a part-time Telerecruiter in Charlotte, NC who will be responsible for contacting eligible blood donors who have previously given blood and re-recruits them to donate regularly.

Position Schedule: Monday – Thursday from 3PM-8PM, Friday from 2PM – 7PM, and Saturday from 10AM-4PM. You will get every Sunday off as well as one other weekday of your choice.

Overview: Candidate will need to be comfortable talking to donors on the phone and scheduling an appointment for them to return and donate while working part time evening hours and every other Saturday. Monthly payout is available if specific measurements are reached each month.

PART TIME

Responsibilities:

• By telephone and other approved communication methods (emails, text, flyers), contacts eligible blood donors and re-recruits them to donate regularly.
• Must meet pre-set department goals and scorecard metrics.
• Provides excellent customer service at all times. Establishes rapport with donors and potential donors and educates them in the organization’s programs and services. Complies and maintains current knowledge and understanding of Donor Recruitment policies, procedures and other related regulations.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalent.

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS:

• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
• Ability to speak, write, read, and understand English
• Skill in operating office equipment
• Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Tasks involve the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (up to 20 pounds). Tasks may involve some manual dexterity, visual acuity, hearing acuity, and extended periods of time at a keyboard or work station.

ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Functions are regularly performed inside without potential for exposure to adverse conditions, such as inclement weather, atmospheric elements and pathogenic substances. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
