One Step Recruitment Ltd Looking for Engineering Manager at Tiverton, Devon Full Time

***SALARY INCREASE – NOW £40-£50K***

One Step Recruitment are currently looking for a Engineering Manager who will be responsible for providing a specialist service and advice to all departments within the Company to deliver the majority of planned and unplanned maintenance of all machinery and equipment.

This involves managing the Enterprise Resource Management CMMS maintenance system and planning and prioritising the work of the engineering team and abatement systems accordingly, proactively contributing to continuous improvement and development to provide a more efficient and cost-effective engineering service to the Company.

Maintain high standards of health and safety awareness, creating a healthy relationship with the health and safety department, integrating them into the department decision making when required.

Ensure all staff adhere to all company processes such as standard work, 5S, Risk Assessments (RAs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Manage the current planned maintenance system, with special regard to reviewing, optimising and driving the abatement system schedule, looking at what spares are required in order to ensure the abatement maintenance is completed and labour is provided and managed accordingly.

You will be educated to degree level in a mechanical or electrical discipline, or equivalent qualification and/or experience. Previous management experience in a medium sized engineering team or workshop, with proven electrical or mechanical experience. Ability to work in a pressured environment whilst maintaining relationships with other departments.

Confident with civil engineering projects and able to offer advice and experience when looking at infrastructure.
