The role

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Talent Acquisition Manager in Camden. Your responsibilities will include:

• Playing a key role in delivering our People Strategy goal – recruiting the best people into the right job roles – in order to support our corporate aims and deliver great service to our customers in social housing and care & support.
• Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with hiring managers at all levels across the organisation to understand and identify our resourcing needs.
• Acting as lead contract manager with our outsourced recruitment partner, to ensure that the RPO and MSP contract delivers quality services tailored to our evolving business needs.
• Setting and managing the complex annual recruitment budget (circa £1m per year), working closely with senior management to report and forecast expenditure as required, developing strategies to reduce any overspends and maximising value for money.
• Contributing to the development and promotion of our employer value proposition (EVP) and brand, tailored to the culture, activities and ambitions of One Housing to increase our ability to attract and retain talent.
• Promoting and developing a positive, engaging and seamless candidate experience
• Commissioning our recruitment partner to produce regular and ad-hoc management data and analysis to inform and develop our talent acquisition activity
• Equipping recruiting managers with the skills and understanding to make quality selection decisions and manage the recruitment process effectively for all vacant roles, by ensuring the provision of specialist training and advice, both internally and through the recruitment partner.
• Developing and promoting innovative new ways to enhance One Housing’s approach to talent acquisition.
• Maintaining a focus on ensuring that the equality, diversity and inclusion strategic aims of One Housing are reflected in all aspects of the talent acquisition recruitment and selection process.

What you will need to succeed

We are looking for someone who believes in working together as part of a team, who shares our values and who is friendly, resilient and engaging. The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent understanding of all aspects of the talent acquisition field, with a track record in successful delivery of major recruitment campaigns, preferably within a social care, social housing and/or wider not-for-profit/public sectors, with an understanding of the distinctive culture, values and working practices in this sector context which impact on the approach to talent resourcing.
• Demonstrable contract management experience, preferably managing an RPO, MSP or similar contract on behalf of an employer or managing its delivery within a recruitment service provider.
• Experience in managing complex, large budgets and achieving value for money outcomes.
• Ability to collate, analyse and report on data to produce management information and insight.
• Ability to influence and negotiate effectively with internal & external stakeholders, brokering resolutions to issues between parties as necessary.
• Ability to identify, develop and promote best practice and innovative approaches to talent acquisition with a strong desire for continuous improvement.
• Self-driven and confident in taking ownership for large scale projects and deliverables with minimal supervision.
