Our Technical Recruiter role is hands-on, fast paced, and challenging. You will be responsible for full life cycle technical recruiting across diverse business units while managing significant aspects of the talent acquisition process. Consult with hiring managers, offering creative and effective staffing ideas and solutions, and set realistic technical requirements. Collaborate with HR Team to conduct needs analysis, post openings, sourcing, screen, and present qualified candidates for open and/or prospective positions. It’s a high-touch role that requires great organization, attention to detail and quantifiable results.

You can work 100% remote, from anywhere in the US. One Call office hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Eastern Time.

RECRUITING RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop recruiting plans, strategies, interview candidates, administer assessments, and initiate and monitor background check processes at all levels.
• Identifying qualified IT professionals, through various sourcing techniques (applications, job boards, database, social media, referrals etc.) and serve as the main point of contact for all candidates throughout the entire recruiting cycle.
• Build and maintain relationships with active and passive candidates and match them with job openings that meet their preferences and career goals.
• Act as an advocate for both manager and candidate throughout the hiring process; establishing regular touch points and providing diligent follow through resulting in a optimal candidate and hiring manager experience.
• Reaching out to a minimum of 10 candidates per day via phone, email, text, LinkedIn etc.
• Determine qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses and assessment date, verifying references, and comparing qualifications of leading candidates to job requirements.
• Negotiating compensation and communicating all incentives to attract and hire the best candidates for our teams.
• Manages new employee/ transferee relocations by determining move requirements, knowing the corporate relocation program and explaining/ delivering benefits based on appropriate relocation program tier.
• Build applicant sources as required.

RELATIONSHIPS

• Building relationships with hiring managers. Serve as the main point of contact throughout the entirety of the hiring process and beyond.
• Meeting with HRBP or Hiring Managers each week, to discover business needs and make recommendations in order to deliver the ideal candidate for their team/s.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled, review job descriptions and understand critical knowledge, skills, and experience required.
• Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices, monitoring job offers and compensation practices, understanding benefits and perks.
• Acts as an organizational ambassador and delivers positive brand messaging to candidates and public in general.
• Understands current employment legislation, enforcing regulations with managers, recommending new procedures, and conducting training.
• Stays current with job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations

ADMINISTRATIVE AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pulls and manipulates data from the applicant tracking system, online skills assessment databases, and other data sources to make recommendations to improve recruiting and retention strategies.
• Retains recruitment documentation according to company policy.
• Partners with team weekly to update and deliver weekly and monthly recruitment reports as requested.
• Assists other members of Talent Acquisition / Human Resources Department with applicable projects related to department or company objectives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years’ experience in full-cycle recruiting specifically focused on technical roles.
• Agency experience preferred.
• Social media savvy to connect with top talent, proficient with top sourcing sites.
• Expert ability at navigating an ATS system. One Call utilizes Cornerstone.
• A recent track record of hiring top-tier, hard to find, technology leadership.
• Comfortable identifying, engaging, and closing passive senior candidates.
• Pipeline management [build diverse talent pipelines, ATS management, weekly update cadence].
• Proficient computer skills & data entry.
• Critical thinking and problem solving.
• Verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Organizational/planning/efficiency skills.
• Exceptional Customer Service.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, excel, publisher, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Work well individually and with a team.
• Excellent with negotiations.
• Usage of office equipment (copier, scanner).
• Attend department meetings and participate in training sessions.
• Perform all other duties and assignments as directed by management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• This job is mainly sedentary; the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, speak, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and lift objects that weigh up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to see things from a close distance and ability to adjust focus.
