On Time Delivery Service, Inc Hiring for Dispatcher/Customer Service at Bloomington, MN Full Time

On Time Delivery Service is one of the most experienced and largest on-demand transportation services in the Twin Cities. We are currently looking for an experienced dispatcher with direct dispatcher experience or substantial courier/delivery experience, along with a desire to offer excellent customer service to our drivers and customers.

Job Description:
The dispatcher is responsible for the daily pickup and delivery coordination of our customers’ service requests. This position requires an organized, detail oriented professional with the capability to multi-task and the ability to work under pressure. Extensive knowledge of the Twin Cities Metro area with a keen sense of direction is desired. The ability to communicate and interact with people and their respective personalities is essential towards being a successful dispatcher.

You will utilize those skills to:

• dispatch drivers to requested pick-up and delivery locations using information on customer needs, drivers’ locations and loads, and daily factors to balance cost and speed of response.
• Initiate outbound calls to customers while drivers are on-site/on-location, resolving pick-up and other service issues.
• troubleshoot and resolve potential issues before they result in service issues
• ensure timely service on missed pick-ups by coordinating driver movement in the field
• work 100% onsite Monday – Friday 11a-8p

Pay: $40,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
