On a Roll Sandwich Company Hiring for HR Manager at Middlesbrough Full Time

Working with the HR, Recruitment and Payroll team, you will be responsible for managing all HR matters including but not limited to performance reviews, wage reviews, disciplinary action, mentoring, training & development.

This is a part time job, working a minimum of 20 hours with flexibility to work 25 – 30 hours, dependent on your commitments and the needs of the business. Hours are flexible over the working week. Salary starts at £14.40, which is approx. £30K a year pro rota, which is negotiable dependent on experience and flexibility.

Key responsibilities of the job:

Working with support of the HR/ Payroll team and department managers you will be responsible for:

• The development, support and delivery of employee engagement
• Provide guidance and coaching to management teams and encourage managers to make effective decisions
• Provide advice on all aspects of company policy, best practice, employee relations and employment law, keeping abreast of new legislations
• Support operational teams to reinforce company culture
• Support capability development and retention across all roles and departments
• Assist and provide guidance in grievance and disciplinary issues up to and including dismissal and appeal
• Review HR management information and suggest areas for improvement
• Develop and orchestrate training workshops for managers and employees across all departments
• Support and lead various projects, e.g restructures etc.

Key Skills:

· Candidates must be flexible, hard-working and possess a positive attitude to work.

· Experience of working within a busy and varied HR capacity, ideally within a manufacturing environment

· Be educated to degree level and/or CIPD Level 4

· Must be well organised and an excellent communicator at all levels
