Job Description:

Work directly with Omni customers and customer’s vendors to process their Comcast shipments

Enter shipment details in Omni’s TMS

Process routings using LTL, Truck Load , Air/Expedite, Hot Shots,

Prepare necessary documentation and send to customer or vendor.

Follow up on shipments , track and trace. Confirm and approve carrier costs

Knowledge/Skills Required:

• One + years of hands-on experience in Freight Forwarding or other logistics/transportation role. Process pickup requests, prepare shipment documentation. Work directly with Agents, LTL carriers, truck load providers, airlines.

• Provide and process rate quotes

• Daily contact with vendors to obtain pricing, tracking and bookings

• Daily monitoring of shipment status

• Resolve customer issues by investigating transactions, developing solutions, and making recommendations. Troubleshoot shipping delays and communicate with customers.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to relate to all levels of company, customer, and vendor organizations

• Basic to advanced computer skills (Data entry, outlook , excel , teams , word)

• Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Manage high volume of email traffic

• Pass a pre-employment drug screen test

• Pass a pre-employment criminal background check

• Pass a TSA Security Threat Assessment

• Ensure compliance with Transportation Security Administration and local/federal governmental regulations

• Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request
