Salesforce Global Strategic Events team sits within the Salesforce Brand Marketing department and focuses on delivering highly engaging customer, prospect and partner event experiences.
The team works with key cross functional teams, such as, sales, product, operations, and executive management to deliver against pipeline, mindshare and brand amplification goals.

In this role you will work closely with teams across the company to bring to life ancillary programming and events to drive best in class experiences and pipeline.
Responsibilities :
Own and lead multiple workstreams and build strategic partnerships, internal and external to define event goals, objectives and metrics in collaboration with other project owners
Provide deep data analysis and insights to senior executives and key stakeholders focused on direct impact on the business
Be an “analytical ninja. Analyze ares for event optimization including recommendations for improving operational efficiencies across workstreams
Develop and track metrics to monitor marketing results; gather feedback and deliver recommendations for future improvement around planning, attendee experience, and results
Drive logistics management for events from start to finish, including pre-event field enablement, collaboration across multiple teams, project management, onsite event support, registration management and other duties
Manage multiple, complex timetables successfully in a collaborative extremely fast paced environment
Negotiate contracts for venues, entertainment, and vendors – research and on optimal event options, off-site venues, and entertainment based on program format and budget
Travel is required to provide support for onsite execution of events – will be local as well as domestic & international
Understand Salesforce brand and product positioning with the ability to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging
Qualifications :
5-7+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced marketing environment.
Strong presentation skills a plus; experienced story teller
Experience managing projects to a fixed budget and proven ROI
Experience managing third-party vendors and contractors
Proven ability to take direction and input in order to develop effective and engaging branded events that will achieve organizational goals
Willingness to roll up his / her sleeves to get the work done or go the extra mile. Strong personal work ethic and problem solver
Flexible personality and quick learner who operates with a sense of urgency
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to manage budget spreadsheets.
Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint (and Office) as well as Google Office skills.
BS or BA related degree in Marketing or Communications, or equivalent experience
