The Opportunity

The Finance Officer will provide administrative and financial support to Finance within the Executive Division. The position is responsible to assist with financial accounting activities as directed. The individual will have an understanding of financial accounting and gain an appreciation of Omni’s processes and procedures surrounding accounts payable, accounts receivable, end of month processes and credit card acquittal program (Concur).
The role will require you to:

• Enter supplier invoices and prepare weekly payment runs
• Prepare client invoicing and company internal invoicing
• Review Concur expense and travel reports
• Update information within the financial system (EXO) and Concur
• Assist with End of Month processes including bank and credit card reconciliations
• Provide administrative support in the Finance environment
• Provide support to Omni employees regarding travel arrangements
• Assist with collection of financial data/preparation of reports as required

The Ideal Candidate

Desirable Qualifications/Education/Training

• Studying toward or successful completion of a tertiary qualifications in a related discipline such as Commerce, Accounting, Business, Economics
• Ability to obtain, gain and maintain a Negative Vetting Security Clearance
• Ability to gain a knowledge of MYOB EXO or experience in a similar financial accounting application
• Knowledge and experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Ability to administer travel arrangements
• High ability to utilise Microsoft Office Suite
