Here’s What You’ll Get To Do

• Perform and document quality checks during the Insulbar process, issues to Tech or Lead
• Assist Technician in locating and moving parts and strut for set ups
• Verify by die prints that all parts match and requirements of the assembly are met
• Load material onto and off of the conveyor, set up and run strut machines
• strut usage on production s
• Assist Technician on loading and unloading completed parts
• Cut samples and conduct shear tests, record and store
• Make sure material has been properly counted and the proper tags are placed on the material
• Tape parts and cut strut when needed

What We’re Looking For

• One year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing or production facility
• Must be able to read and write legibly
• Must be able to follow written instructions and tracking information
• Must have the ability to learn to recognize poor metal quality as related to finish or metal itself
• Must be able to make simple mathematical calculations
• Must have a high level of initiative – able to work independently
• May need to occasionally need to determine and distinguish shades of color for quality verification
• Assist with general housekeeping
• Follow verbal and basic written instructions
• Can work in a team environment
• Must have flexible work availability to work “off shift” or overtime as required
• Must be able to adapt to constant change
• Regular and predictable attendance, ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of this job

Physical Requirements

• Must be capable of lifting 25 pounds continuously with an occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds
• Must be able to continuously grasp and reach to move metal to/from buggies or conveyors
• Must have good hand dexterity using both hands for gripping and moving material
• Must have good hand eye coordination to move metal with partner
• Stand and walk for entire shift on concrete, up to 12 hours
• Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region (Heat, humidity, etc.)
• Ability to visually inspect boxed aluminum for a quality and accurate shipment
• Ability to wear all required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
