Dean of Students

The Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics (OSSM) is a two-year residential high school for academically gifted students in science and mathematics. OSSM’s vision is to be Oklahoma’s premier residential STEM school creating a world of possibilities and life changing opportunities.

OSSM now seeks applicants with qualifications for Dean of Students. The Dean of Students strives to enhance students’ academic success by managing the residential aspect of student life.

Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Qualifications

• Under the direct supervision of OSSM president, the Dean of Students will oversee the implementation and enforcement of school policies as it relates to student behavior.
• Manage and supervise residential aspect, including direct supervision of residence hall staff.
• Educational background with minimum 3 years experience in classroom instruction.
• Instruction of academic course(s) in field of expertise.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred.
