Ohio University Hiring for Project Manager, Office of Medical Education, Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, Athens Campus at Athens, OH Full Time

Under the direction of the Associate Dean for Academic Assessment, Quality and Accreditation, manage multiple projects related to curriculum and documenting processes and practices in the Office of Medical Education. The Office of Medical Education includes functions related to curriculum, clinical education and assessment and accreditation. This term position will collaborate with the Associate Dean and others in the Office of Medical Education to document the curriculum and program in accordance with continuous quality improvement and accreditation expectations. Additionally, documentation of processes, policies and functions within, and across, the three units of the Office of Medical Education will enable continuity and consistency across the four years of curriculum and support services provided by the Office of Medical Education.

1. From identified projects, manage resources and project plans, deliverables, milestones and outcomes; project reporting, documentation, testing and implementation. Works collaboratively with department and college constituents to ensure that the project needs are being properly identified, tracked and planned. Conduct research into various resources to provide meaningful information and data and decision points to enhance the project planning and outcomes. Project outcomes will be consistent with overall Medical Education goals, will create collaborative and enhanced relationships and processes. 50% of time

2. Creates and manages the communication plans for each project after project plan approval. 20% of time

3. Prepare all necessary documentation for accreditation, university and college approvals, and student and faculty documentation for implementation or revision of the curriculum and associated processes (syllabi,web resources, manuals, etc ). 30% of time

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required

8+ years of experience to create and plan project outcomes specific to a college of medicine

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree preferred
