More about the role

We are looking for a talented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. The role’s primary focus is to provide a range of accounting/finance tasks for our rapidly growing business. You will be undertaking a wide range of accounting activities, ensuring you are delivering results on time. The absolute key to your success in this role will be your attention to details, ability to take ownership of given tasks, and commitment to delivering work that is timely and accurate.

Further detail on what you will be accountable for

• Preparing and issuing of consolidated customers invoices and ensuring payments are collected on a timely manner (AR function).
• Posting of accrual and prepayment journals, and other month-end tasks including variance analysis.
• Analysis and reconciliation of P&L and Balance Sheet accounts.
• Bank Reconciliations.
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly BAS.
• Preparing monthly investors’ reporting.
• Assisting in quarterly forecasting process (operating expenses).
• Identifying process issues and proposing solutions.
• Other accounting and finance related tasks as required.

• Accounting degree.
• Desire to start or working towards relevant professional qualifications, such as CA or CPA.
• A minimum of 2 years post graduate experience in a broad accounting or finance role (including AP & AR).
• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Demonstrates intermediate to advance level of computer skills, especially in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Highly motivated and capable to thrive in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
• Hands on approach with desire to solve problems.
• Capable of working autonomously whilst respecting the deadlines.
