About the opportunity
We are looking for a talented Head of Finance to lead and scale our finance department. This is a newly created position, reporting directly to the CEO and being an essential part of our Senior Leadership Team.

What you’ll be doing at Ofload:

• Overseeing and managing all aspects of the finance function includingfinancial accounting, AR, AP, tax, cash flow, payroll and compliance
• Leading our Business unit called “Fintech for Freight” which is meant to increase our profitability through offerings such as Factoring, Financing,
  
  insurance and more
• Continuing to develop the financial systems and processes of Ofload in line with our quickly scaling revenue with a focus on automation
• Leading Ofload through our first and subsequent external audits
• Leading the budget and forecasting processes, including liaising, sharing results and analysis with relevant stakeholders
• Managing the preparation of month end close, including balance sheet reconciliations and reporting to our investors
• Mentoring and developing the finance managers and finance associates
• Working on a significant number of critical projects, such as working with the Product and Tech teams to develop the financial capabilities of our Platform and other offerings.

About you:

• Significant experience (6+ years) in a broad finance/accounting role
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability in building out and leading high performing teams and developing team capabilities
• A hands-on approach, delving into detail when required
• Relevant professional qualifications such as CA/CPA
