About the opportunity
We are looking for a talented and motivated Finance Associate to join our Finance team. The Finance Associate’s primary focus is to provide a range of accounting/finance services for our rapidly growing business.

About you

You will be comfortable and experienced in undertaking a range of accounting activities, ensuring you are delivering results on time. The absolute key to your success in this role will be your attention to detail and commitment to delivering work that is timely and accurate.

What you’ll be doing at Ofload

• Processing and payment of supplier invoices (AP function)
• Preparing and issuing of customer invoices and ensuring payments are allocated accordingly (AR function)
• Posting of general journals and accruals
• Analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
• Bank Reconciliations
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly BAS
• Assisting in monthly investors’ reporting and quarterly forecasting process
• Assisting in external audit
• Assisting in the improvement of processes
• Other accounting and finance related tasks as required

• Accounting degree
• Desire to start or working towards relevant professional qualifications, such as CA or CPA
• A minimum of 1 year work experience in a broad accounting or finance role (including AP & AR)
• Good knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Demonstrates intermediate to advance level of computer skills, especially in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Highly motivated and capable to thrive in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
• Capable of working autonomously whilst respecting the dynamics of a team
