ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for a candidate to join our growing team as a Production Coordinator. The production coordinator will be responsible for working with the production supervisor to facilitate orders through the manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be great with computers and experienced working in a manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use Microsoft Excel to prepare cut schedules
• Coordinate orders in Seradex ERP and adjust order dates based on volume
• Use cutting optimization software to create cut lists for CNC machines
• Review the production schedule on a daily basis with the production supervisor
• Work with the production supervisor to track and facilitate parts throughout the facilities
• Perform stock counts and work with purchasing to ensure the required materials are on hand
• Update Seradex ERP system with accurate stock counts
• Assist and coordinate continuous improvement projects throughout the facility
• Other duties as assigned

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to Speak, Read and Write English Fluently
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel (will be tested)
• Previous experience with cutting optimization software is an asset
• Experience with material handling equipment forklift/reach is an asset
• Must be comfortable working with computers and quick to learn new software
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• On the job training will be provided

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
