The office of Charles De Lisle is a high-end residential design firm specializing in tailored interiors, interior architecture, furniture design and product design. Located in Sausalito, our projects, both urban and rural, can be found throughout the country and abroad.
We are looking for a part time A/P Assistant to work closely with our Controller in all areas of A/P and A/R. This is a remote, part time position of 2-3 days with on-site training to start, and potential to evolve into a full time, in-office position.
Responsibilities:
– Assist Controller in all aspects of A/P, A/R process as needed
– Process accounts payable transactions using industry specific software
– Review purchase orders and invoices for accuracy
– Enter and track employee expenses
– Problem solve/reconcile vendor accounts
– Communicate with employees to obtain additional information, supporting documentation or clarification
– Credit card statement reconciliation
– Process and review A/P reports
– Assist with monthly client invoicing
– Digital file maintenance
– Misc. Admin tasks
Essential skills:
– 2 years of A/P, A/R, and/or purchasing and administrative experience
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
– Familiarity with different types of accounting software
– Ability to quickly adapt to new software
– Strong communication and organizational skills
– Strong analytical and process skills with attention to details and data accuracy
– Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
– Familiarity with interior design accounting process a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
