Here we have the opportunity for someone to really get stuck in. You will be working with a truly collaborative team in a large, open workspace, and will be supported by the CFO, Operations Manager and an Administrator. You will implementing new processes and systems, managing all project and management accounts, supporting the legal and procurement process, and also running the day-to-day financial operations; including processing invoices, PAYE and VAT reconciliations and reporting. But it’s not just about doing the day-to-day.

So, what are your responsibilities as Finance Manager?

• You will be preparing and presenting monthly reports, including Management Accounts and short term cashflow forecasting, to stakeholders including the team, the Board and the Investors
• You will manage project accounts, including budget and spend approvals, monthly analysis and insight and dashboard reporting
• You will be managing all key financial processes, including sales ledger, grant claims, purchase ledger, payments and bank reconciliations and payroll
• You will manage tax accounts, including monthly PAYE and VAT reconciliations and submissions, and day-to-day communication with our outsourced accounting and tax provider
• You will maintain insurance policies and schedules, and regular updates with business stakeholders and insurance brokers
• You will support Engineering, Operations and Commercial teams’ procurement activities
• You will support the Board with legal processes, including review of purchase/sales contracts (including standard T&Cs) and employment contracts
