Title: Intake Associate
Position Status: Full-time (exempt), Remote, preference to New England based candidates
Supervisor: Director of Intake
Compensation: $46,000 annual salary plus benefits
Schedule: Wednesday 5pm-8am; Thursday 5pm-8am; Friday 5pm through Monday 8am; All times Eastern Standard Time
O’Connor Professional Group (OPG) offers a continuum of services to guide individuals and families through the behavioral health industry by providing concierge services to identify suitable treatment and aftercare options and assist in creating and implementing sustainable recovery plans. We help address the needs of those struggling with behavioral health issues that include substance use disorders, mental health issues, eating disorders, and mood and personality disorders. We also support individuals on the autism spectrum and young adults lacking clinical diagnoses, who are struggling with transitions to independence.
The Intake Associate has an innate desire to improve the lives of those who have been impacted by some type of behavioral health condition. They are passionate about imparting hope, invigorated through the building of connections, and enjoy a good challenge. This position will utilize critical thinking, discretion and independent judgment when supporting prospective clients, particularly when assessing how we can help as a service provider. The Intake Associate will be a key member of our Intake Team and will serve as the first point of contact for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings/overnights as well as the weekend. This position will work with prospective clients, families, and referring professionals by understanding how we can meet their needs and then taking appropriate action to sign them onto services.
Responsibilities
o Talking with families, advisors, individuals, and other referral sources about our services;
o Acting as lead liaison for all incoming inquiries, coordinating next steps, and following-up to ensure referrals move through the intake process efficiently;
o Answering pricing and other financial questions related to our services based on several variables that can impact the financial arrangement, including client acuity, location, urgency, and required resources; and
o Proposing and finalizing staffing options for prospective clients based on the clinical needs.
