We are looking for an experienced finance professional with a keen eye for detail and desire to analyze data. The Finance Administrator will be responsible for resolving escrow holds, and supporting our processors through collecting, interpreting and reviewing finance information. This position is full-time and requires in-person work.

Compensation:

$45,000 – $60,000

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed journal entries and post them to software system to track all receipts and disbursements
• After settlements, ensure files are fully disbursed in a timely fashion
• Resolve escrow holds post close
• Reconciliation of accounting software and bank records
• Monitor uncashed checks for replacement as needed
• Issue 1099s for real estate sales
• Work with processor / examiner to correct and resolve and discrepancies
• Positive Pay on a daily basis
• Keep physical and digital financial records up-to-date and organized in a file system
• Take deposits to the bank as needed
• Prepare financial reports through collection, analysis, and summarization of data on weekly, quarterly, annual basis
• Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards
• Assist Buyer or Seller clients with questions about receipts, disbursements or escrow releases

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Several years of experience in finance/accounting related field
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to organize, multitask and work under pressure while maintaining a positive, friendly attitude
• Exceptional customer service skill and professional phone manner
• Overachieving attitude and strong work ethic
• Basic knowledge of real estate market terminology and practices
