About the role
We are currently looking for an experienced Test Analyst with a strong automation background and some best practice SaaS experience. We are in the process of expanding our product stack from On-Premises Enterprise software to a genuine SaaS offering and need you to help with the transition by bringing your experience and expertise to our already successful Software Development Life cycle.
We are hiring, in our Wollongong office, a Test Analyst to join our world-class RegTech Solutions product development team.
Experience
- Minimum three years of commercial experience with test management software, test automation and testing techniques.
- Experience of designing and implementing test approaches for complex enterprise products.
- Proven experience working in testing and automating SaaS applications.
- Experience in planning and execution of Automation Testing in established organisations.
- University Degree Qualified, ideally in Computer Science or Engineering.
Responsibilities
- Create and automate innovative test cases and plans to ensure quality is built in from the very start of the project
- Analyse/Review product and business requirements and software specifications to create test designs and automated testes
- Work collaboratively with the developers to deliver high quality software that delivers customer value
- Produce and deliver testing related documentation including test completion and defect reports.
- Continually drive improvement in our automated QA processes, approach and toolsets to ensure the highest quality of product delivery, particularly related to a SaaS product
- Automate testing processes, including automated setup and configuration of testing environments

Technical Competencies
- Scripting and programming skill, preferably with a background as a Developer
- Current tools are: Front End: TOSCA, Puppeteer API: Postman, NodeJS, JMeter, JUnit
- Testing of enterprise applications within primarily within a Cloud environment, but a Windows Environment is also beneficial.
- Evaluating and selecting testing tools.
- JIRA and Confluence.
- Strong understanding of testing across the software development life cycle
- Fundamental understanding of Azure and/or AWS
