Position Summary

The Manager, Accounting assists the Director of Finance in directing the Company’s accounting functions. These functions include preparing group financial reports, participating in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes.

Essential Job Function

· Prepare Group consolidated financial statements with a focus on ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of month-end reporting.

· Prepare special management reports as requested by key internal executives. Works closely with other Accounting Managers to ensure synchronized financial information.

· Prepare various quarterly reports to be submitted to Singapore parent company.

· Review balance sheet schedules and bank reconciliations.

· Analyze the effect of statutory accounting practices and studies regulations and guidance to ensure correct application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

· Oversee preparation of financial packages for year-end audit. Draft audited financial statements for Home Office.

Assist with compilation of information for preparation of tax returns.
