Contracts Manager – Construction
Oakwood Construction Services are looking to add a Contracts Manager to our growing team.

Oakwood have a proven track record for delivering maintenance and projects to a great standard with customer satisfaction. We are based in Maidstone and work across southern England.

We undertake a variety of works for commercial clients including hotels, pubs, restaurants, care homes, schools and insurance works.

This role would suit somebody who has some previous experience within maintenance / construction – in a similar position.

We have a very professional experienced team and the right candidate can develop skills in a professional working environment.

You will provide support to existing contracts managers, being responsible for all areas of overseeing our procedures and ensuring our high standards and great customer service is maintained. This is a very varied position and a fantastic opportunity to gain experience at managing construction and maintenance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To form relationships with clients and be approachable
• Attend site visits and client meetings when required
• Submit quotations in various formats
• To work closely with the senior management team, ensuring our KPI’s are being met
• Ensure all client portals are kept up to date with any status / updates
• To accurately close down reactive visits using our rates

• SKILLS REQUIRED
• Have a clear and concise approach to verbal communication, able to use the phone to communicate effectively, and have good typing skills.
• Able to deal with lots of activity, remain focused on the call you are dealing with, and the information that needs to be recorded or transferred by completing the task you are on before moving on to the next.

• Have a reasonable proficiency in MS Office
• Understand what it is to be part of a team and ensure that learning is shared within the team.
• Be flexible in your working hours to be able to support the delivery of the service; be reliable and dependable; identify issues and record them, along with other measures as necessary.

Salary: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
