We operate in a dynamic Shared Services environment and our core business is to provide effective, timely and efficient accounting and back room services to organizations within the Jim Pattison Group as well as privately owned businesses.

We are currently seeking a full time Accounting Co-op to join our team in our Kelowna office. If you have strong analytical and research skills, a customer service focus, intermediate Excel skills and excellent attention to detail, this role could be perfect for you!

OUR OPPORTUNITY:
Reporting to the AR Supervisor, the ideal candidate will be responsible for:

Accurately reconciling customer payments and/or supplier accounts

Researching and following up on discrepancies

Analyzing sales data for completeness and reporting on account anomalies

Monitoring and tracking invoice compliance and accruals

Recommending process improvement suggestions for reconciliation and research practices
